Iceland will be whaling for 5 more years
and shark consumption has doubled worldwide, but Sea Shepherd Brasil is fighting back.
Dear Seaspirians,
Here are this monthβs most groundbreaking and revelatory investigations along with international ocean campaigns we support.
This is what makes working at Seaspiracy worth it, shedding light on investigations and then supporting worldwide campaigns that need to come to the forefront. Sharing these reports whilst asking you to take key actions (sending an email or signing a petition) can really change policy and push for stronger regulation. Remember, the fishing industry has been operating under a veil of secrecy, itβs time their shady business comes to light.

π£ US tuna cans tied to forced labour in Indonesia.
The report, βNetting Profits, Risking Lives: The Unresolved Human and Environmental Exploitation at Seaβ, looked at complaints from 10 Indonesian fishers filed with SBMI from 2019 to 2024. The 10 cases were linked to 12 Taiwanese-flagged vessels, four of which were found to have supplied popular US tuna brand Bumble Bee.
